My name is Battul and my husband (Ali) and I are both registered childminders in our own rights. We have two wonderful boys, one aged 5 years and the other 2 and a half. We are a very happy family working from the comforts of our warm and friendly home. Providing a home from home experience.
We have a nice semi-detached property in, which we are registered to look after children aged 0-8yrs and to use the whole of the ground floor and the bathroom on the first floor for minding. Along with the large safe, secure and enclosed outdoor space (great for getting creative in, in all weathers), the kitchen and the sun-room too.
We provide a very relaxed, comfortable and happy family environment in, which children can learn, develop and grow to their peeks. We provide all the relevant resources for children to learn from and be stimulated by. We also provide a range of multicultural resources for our children, this is to raise awareness of issues regarding inclusion and for them to learn about the different cultures in our society today.
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum for children 0-5 years and carry out regular observations to keep track of their learning and development. We attend regular training courses and will do in the future too, to ensure our skills and knowledge is up to date.
We are able to pick up and drop offs from nursery and school.
We Attend playgroup sessions and toddler groups too.
We provide healthy halal meals and snacks and
welcome children of all abilities, religions and cultural backgrounds.
Between us, we have Approx. 10 years experience working with and bring up our own children too.
I have worked as a nursery assistant as my first voluntary placement and took part in summer schemes working with children with special needs before going on to completing my BA (Hons) Degree in Education Studies in, which i went on a placement at BRI working on the children's ward as a Hospital Schools Teacher. once having completed the degree...i worked for a day care nursery for two years full time and then left for a change and worked as a supply nursery nurse around Bradford, Halifax, York and Leeds.....enjoying every day as it came.
Ali has a Bsc Degree in Math, Physics and Statistics.
I have a BA (Hons|) Degree in Education Studies.

Public Liability Insurance in place
and have NCMA membership too.
Our minding hours are between 7am-7pm Monday to Friday

We are available 24 hours by e-mail.
Happy to speak to you in English, and Urdu (and understand Punjabi also).
We are available to work weekends too, in Emergency situations, only on request.
Our fees start from as little as £3.50 an hour and we provide competitive rates for full and half day sessions, with great weekly rates too.
