Full time Nanny (manny) / house keeper and more

Hello Parents and children.
My name is Joe and I am a 28 year old and I am looking for full-time employment as an childminder/nanny (manny!).

Let me tell you a little about myself. I am from the Czech Republic and I have been living and working in London for over 7 years. During that time I have been working as an au pair, carpenter, decorator and gardener. A strange mixture of trades I know but I am very comfortable working in all these areas. I like to consider myself as highly responsible, punctual, honest and reliable person. I believe that whatever the job, you should always aim for the best results possible. I have always enjoyed caring for children having looked after them in our extended family most of my life. I played a significant role in raising my two younger sisters since I was a 12yr old boy, I am therefore familiar with changing nappies, preparing baby food and all those other tasks that come with having a little one in the house. Back in Czech Republic I also worked as an au pair and housekeeper (or as they liked to call me a "family`s helper") for aproximately a year and a half . I like to think that I am very easy company with children and I have a sunny personality. I like to play with and entertain them and do this hopefully in an educational way, help develop their speech skills, vocabulary, encourage good manners and help children to tell their parents about the day they have had. I like to take an interest in children's hobbies as well as take an interest in their activities, such as sport. I can help with their homework and their creativity play (drawing etc). Most of all I hope I can be a positive role model, a child carer and a friend to any child I that I look after. I think it`s important to know that being a nanny is not just a job but way of life as well.


I also have significant experience in the building trade. I have been working for some time as an extremely experienced carpenter and decorator. I can turn my hand to most household problems with ease and I hope that this will make me an asset to any home. I can essentially take care of all the little handyman tasks you may have in your house and I have a full set of tools and my own transport. I can wash, iron and am happy to carry out light housework. I am hard working, take a pride in my work, whatever that is and I am honest and diligent in everything I do. I am intelligent and very capable of using my own initiative. I have a full UK drivers license and I think it is fair to say my English is fluent.
