Smiles More Fun Childminding Services

Smiles More Fun provides flexible childcare for children from 3 months to 8 years old in Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire within the west side area, close to the town centre and Stanborough lakes.

I am an OUTSTANDING registered childminder (see OFSTED report)caring for children in my own home providing a clean, safe, caring and secure environment, with hours of fun thrown in! The children in my care benefit from being one of a small group, receiving plenty of individual attention and are included in the domestic activities of a family home.

I have a dedicated play room providing a safe, secure, fun space filled with plenty of activities and toys for all ages.

I have a large, safe, fully enclosed back garden to play games and other outdoor activities including the use of many outdoor toys, play houses and a Jungle gym.

I am registered with the Office for Standards in Education (OFSTED) and a member of the National Childminding Association (NCMA). I have a certificate in childminding practice, infant and child first aid certificate and attended courses on child protection, behaviour management and food safety.

In addition to all the training, I have a natural 'parenting instinct', having a son and daughter of my own.

My name is Lisa Ireland, married to Nigel a design manager for a construction company in London. We have a six and half year old daughter and five year old son and live in a period 4 bedroom detached house.

Both myself and my husband have been checked by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) which was undertaken during my registration to become a childminder.
