We have an exciting opportunity for young people between the ages of 14-19 to gain an edge in the competitive world of employment. We are offering you a chance to gain practical WORK EXPERIENCE as well as ACCREDITED CERTIFIED TRAINING COURSES and office related roles for FREE, at no cost to you.
St Mary’s Services is committed to using our past expertise and knowledge to offer quality specialist training courses and we support candidates with practical work experience to complement their educational courses, trainings or qualifications and enhance their employment skills.
For this reason we feel that we are uniquely placed to offer you a structured work placement which will provide you with the following benefits:

• Interviewing techniques and skills to gain
• Guidance on how to break into the job market
• Trained by professionals, with experience in their fields
• References attainable from the organisation
As a trainee on the work placement, you will follow a workplan you have set up with your supervisor, which will help to build and consolidate what you have learnt on the relevant course.
It is set up in the structure of a real office environment. You carry out your duties as though you are at work under the supervision of a line manager.
If you are aged between 14-19, and are based in any of the following boroughs, then you can be eligible to attend the FREE Training course and 6 months Work Internship:
• Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lewisham, Camden, City of London, Hammersmith and Fulham, Islington, Kensington and Chelsea, Lambeth, Southwark and Westminster
Please note the Internship is not a paid role. Also available to full time students on Saturdays and evenings.
