Our client is one of the world's leading integrated energy companies with subsidiaries that conduct business across the globe.They are accepting applications for the position of Recruitment Adviser (Temporary/Temporary-to-Permanent contract) located in Aberdeen.

Overview:
Reporting to the Recruitment and Selection Team Leader, the Recruitment & Selection Adviser will be play an integral role in supporting the recruitment and selection of employees in the Europe/Eurasia and Middle East regions. The role will work closely with the local HR function facilitating day-to-day recruitment operations aligned to business needs and expectations.

Key Job Responsibilities for this position:
* Supporting a range of business operations and disciplines within the business
* Serves as a key point of contact for recruitment activities in the region
* Working closely with London based Recruitment team, coordinating lifecycle operations
* Liaising with hiring managers to obtain recruitment requirements
* Support candidate sourcing, developing local networks and contacts to support ongoing business growth and operations.
* Support recruitment process and lifecycle, managing customer expectations
* Providing counsel and guidance on selection strategies and policies to local HR contacts and hiring managers
* Operate best practice recruitment providing cost-effective recruitment delivery
* Actively participates in interviews, ensuring fair assessments
* Conduct telephone interviews as required
* Coordinates local assessment and interview logistics as required
* Maintains knowledge of external recruiting practices, in and outside of the energy industry
* Participates in special projects as required
* Represent the company demonstrating company behaviours.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree (or equivalent) with strong employment and recruitment law knowledge
* Preferably have recruitment experience in Eastern Europe as well as UK
* Experience as a recruitment consultant preferably in technical Oil & Gas disciplines
* Depth of recruiting experience for technical disciplines within the Scottish Oil & Gas market
* Strong knowledge of local employment market and candidate sourcing strategies
* Solution orientated, resourceful and results driven
* Excellent communication skills capable of influencing and engaging at all levels
* Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
* A strong team player who keeps others informed and open to ideas and new approaches
* Conscientious and customer focused
* A collaborative, team orientated approach to working relationships
