Norway (based), with business travel to Singapore and Malaysia

Job Purpose:
Working within the Subsea, Flowlines & Pipleines (SSFP) Team, the Subsea Control System Site Representative will be responsible for the daily on-site coordination of the Subsea Production and Subsea Control systems equipment work and delivery process.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Participation in post-build test programs
- Weekly, and as necessary daily, communication of schedule progress, successes and challenges
- Participation in the system/detail engineering of the Subsea Production and Control systems.
- Participation in design reviews and workshops (HAZOP, HAZID etc)
- Monitoring of the Subsea Production and Subsea Control systems equipment during build to ensure technical compliance, maintenance of quality standards, validity of qualification and testing and maintenance of build schedule
- Monitoring of the Subsea Production Subsea Control Modules (SMCs) during build to ensure technical compliance, maintenance of quality standards, validity of qualification and testing and maintenance of build schedule
- Liaison with other SSFP groups (Trees, Manifolds, Platform Topsides, Installation engineering, Umbilical’s, etc) to ensure prompt and controlled interchange of information
- Management and logistical control of on-site free-issue and test equipment
Knowledge, Skills and Requirements:
- Degree Qualified (Engineering/Marine/Mechanical/Electrical), Or relevant experience
- Demonstrated design knowledge of Direct and Electro-Hydraulic subsea control systems and associated distribution equipment and how these interface with other subsea equipment systems
- Experience with the manufacturing, testing and integration of subsea mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and instrumentation equipment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in working within engineering contractors in Project execution, detailed engineering and fabrication environments
- Track record in the monitoring of Subsea Equipment Vendors and associated engineering contractors during build and test processes
- Capacity to manage local inspection resources as required
- Understanding of Australian standards to verify they are being adhered to
