Planning Discipline Lead

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a Planning Discipline Lead with a leading global provider of engineered services and products. In this role you will provide a focal point for all planning activities within the company's function team. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of planning processes, procedures and guidance, and will assist in the assessment and training of personnel.

In this role you will be responsible for determining company wide "best practice" for the planning activities. You will also perform audits of enactment of planning procedures, and will be responsible for providing consultancy direct to clients when necessary. You will also be involved in the training and mentoring of all personnel. You will be required to communicate with all different levels of staff. You will also be responsible for providing discipline input into tenders, proposals and CTRs.

The ideal candidate will have experience of project planning within the engineering arena, with experience of inspection and integrity. You will also ideally have an ECITB Project Management qualification (or equivalent) and be familiar with ACET or other databases/discipline specific software. Strong communication skills will also be required, along with experience of working in a supervisory capacity.
