The Background

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a Pressure Vessel Inspection Engineer with a leading global provider of engineered services and products.

The Role

As the Pressure Vessel Inspection Discipline Lead you will be responsible for the effective provision and operation of pressure and inspection systems engineering and services to the allocated facilities, to ensure that plant and equipment is certified in accordance with the clients Codes of Practice, strategies and offshore legislation. You will be responsible for determining companywide "best practise" for the Inspection of Pressure Vessels and developing and maintaining discipline processes, procedures and guidance documents. You will perform audits of enactment of discipline procedures and provide technical leadership and guidance and be responsible for the training and mentoring of all personnel. You will also provide discipline input into tenders, proposals and CTR's.

You

As the ideal candidate for this role you will ideally be qualified to degree or HND level with significant experience in pressure systems including the design, installation, maintenance, repair and management as well as experience with inspection/integrity. You will have experience in a managerial role with excellent communication skills at all levels within an organisation. You will preferably be familiar with ACET or other databases/ discipline specific software, be a team player and possess good mentoring skills.
