1st Level Nurse RGN

Looking for a full time RGN to work shifts. You will have to have a Pin number. Experience with working in a nursing home with good clinical skills in caring for the elderly. Good communication skills. Good literacy skills. Flexible with shifts pattern.

To be aware of each service user's social & medical needs. To be the named nurse for a specific number of service users & to lead a team of care assistants in carrying out their key worker roles. Offer consultation & supervision to all staff on a regular basis in accordance with the Companies Supervision Policy & maintain appropriate records. Develop staff skills in preparation for promotion or additional responsibilities. To ensure coverage of the home at all times, making the best possible use of staff resources. To undertake drug rounds at prescribed times - ensuring sufficient drugs available for following 24 hrs. Team Player
