Experienced bookkeeper in Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll. Word and Excel.
Position is for a letting agency, experience in industry preferred but not essential. Efficient general administration skills, and good telephone manner essential. Organized positive’ can do’ attitude and ability to solve problems and happy to work independently, you will also have previous bookkeeping experience. Candidate is required to demonstrate ability to cross check accounts recording.
Because of the nature of the role you will also need to be versatile and customer focused as on occasion you will be dealing with customer telephone calls.

VAT Returns
Processing BACS payments
Payroll
VAT returns
Payments and invoicing
Book-keeping to trial balance stage
Bank account reconciliations
Monitoring cash flow and managing bank account balances
Assistance with budgeting
Recording staff leave
Checking staff timesheets
The successful candidate will be required to work 2 days per week for a total of 12 hours, (can be flexible if needed around school hours). salary at £8.60 per hour initially with a review after 3 months dependent on preformance.
