Solar PV Branch Manager
£32-40,000 plus bonus, phone, pension, car / allowance

An expanding solar energy installation company are looking for a positive and motivated manager will have a good practical understanding of construction, sales, and renewable technologies enabling them to assist in the organization, coordination, and development of the sales and installation teams.
The company design and install solar thermal and solar electric systems for domestic, public sector and commercial clients.
Responsibilities
• Responsibility for branch financial control and meeting financial targets, as well as deal with HR issues and manage / motivate staff on a day to day basis
• Manage sales team, plus develop and maintain relationships with key clients
• Oversee job scheduling
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management systems
• Ensure branch complies with all legal responsibilities, in the office and at installation sites (work in conjunction with H&S Manager)
• Assist in the development of the company across all branches
Experience and skills required
• Experience of management in a solar, construction, installation or service related business.
• Practical (on-site) experience of general plumbing, electrical and building works
• Knowledge of solar thermal and electric systems
• Ability to install solar electric and hot water systems
• Strong team building and leadership, and people management skills
• A proven track record in sales to both domestic and public sector customers.
• Proven ability to manage a budget
• Excellent IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent social and communication skills
• Excellent writing and presentation skills
• Degree level qualification 2.2 or above (or equivalent)
• CSCS supervisor card (not essential but a distinct advantage)
• Proven track record in managing projects, people and self
• Able to work a range of hours with occasional overnight stays
• Enthusiasm for renewable energies
• Full clean driving licence.
