Healthcare Assistants – Bristol & South Gloucestershire
•Mileage Allowance.
•£7.25 - £8.35 per hour.

Job Purpose:
To be responsible for the well-being, I.E the physical, emotional and social care needs of the service users, in a caring, kind and respectful manner, preserving dignity and respect at all times. To know and support the main aims and values of Everycare and to understand and implement our policies and procedures at all times.
Principal Accountabilities and Activities:
•To participate fully in the overall care of the service user. To assist with washing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene as per care plan.
•To assist/ensure that the emotional, physical, medical and spiritual needs of the service user are recognised.
•To assist in maintaining safe levels of care and ensuring safe practice.
•To help provide essential physical and mental stimulation by participating in recreational and social activities with service users individually or in a group.
•To assist in maintaining accurate records in accordance with registration and legal requirements.
•To report any accidents relating to staff and/or service users as per procedures.
•To ensure the Company Policy on confidentially is upheld.
•To be respectful and courteous when dealing with colleagues relatives and other public and professional people.
•To be flexible and work to the benefit of the service user, and to assist with any other duties if required.
•To carry out instructions by senior staff in an efficient and conscientious manner.
•To assist and facilitate in the welcoming and training of new staff members.
•To assist in the maintenance of Safe and Healthy Working Environment by ensuring adherence to Everycare’s, Health & Safety and Welfare policies and procedures.
•To attend mandatory training and staff meetings.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
•NVQ Level 2 in Care or willing to attain.
•Working with older people, people with a disability or special needs.
