A leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with a fantastic reputation for renewable energy projects throughout the UK, are seeking somebody to drive the business forwards in Scotland specifically.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead on developing new renewables projects for the company with clients throughout Scotland, both onshore and offshore.
• Focus on Energy from Waste, Biomass, Wind and Marine projects
• Lead an established team of consultants and engineers, project management, manage P&L accounts, identify any training areas
• Continue to build strength in the team by expanding with skilled members

Skills required

• BSc, BEng or similar in an environmental or energy related subject.
• Post graduate qualification (MSc, MEng, PhD etc) in a specialist area
• Knowledge and experience of legal issues, due diligence, stakeholder engagement, bid or proposal management
• Business development
• Project Management
• In depth knowledge and interest in renewable energies, particularly those listed above
• Background in a consultancy environment, or in industry if you are looking to make the move into consultancy.
