Automotive Parts Advisor Required in Exeter.
Our client an Automotive Main Dealer in the Exeter area is currently looking to hire a Parts Advisor for their busy Parts Department.
You will ideally live within the Devon area or be able to travel to the Exeter area and have a working experience of Automotive Parts, in both stock control and also customer facing sales.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a career in a high profile commercial vehicle environment.
Applicants will have the responsibility for:
• Promoting the sale of parts at all times, ensuring a good reputation to the Company
• Maintaining high levels of counter image and parts department housekeeping
• Utilisation of computerised systems for parts identification; vehicle chassis numbers; engine and year of production numbers as quickly as possible
• Stock control and stock rotation processes.
• Processing workshop requirement, including understanding of technicians’ requests, job cards and written reports
• Parts administration including VOR orders, customer collections and payment methods
• Management of parts returns, warranty returns, exchange units and return of defective parts to supplier
The right candidate will be required to have specific skills such as:
• Previous experience in a Parts Department or similar environment
• Good computer literacy
• Excellent customer service skills including professional presentation
• Good organisational skills
• Experience in stock control
• Full driving licence
Our Client offers a fantastic salary package with a minimum basic of £20k.
