Sous Chef Required,
Salary £23k (negotiable)
Our kitchen produces delicious classics as well as modern dishes to customers in the pub and our smart dining area.
Going into the winter season we are looking for a Sous Chef to assist our head chef in delivering our menu and specials to a high standard.
We currently trade at £12k net food sales a week. £18k net during the festive period.
The right candidate will be:
- Passionate about producing fresh delicious food
- Someone that wants to learn and develop more in the industry
- Has work experience in a similar role, or is moving up from a CDP position and is ready to take the next step in his or her career
- Comfortable leading a team and working independently in head chefs absence
- Self-motivated and puts pride into his/her work
- Eligible to work in the UK with no restrictions
- Good communication skills essential
Duties will include:
- Consistently produce delicious and beautifully presented food
- Adhere to Health & Safety requirements, and standards of Food Hygiene
- Direct and instruct other chefs in the absence of the head chef
- Arrange daily specials in the absence of the head chef

- High level of cleanliness.
- Ability to work well with others and on own
- Able to work efficiently and effectively in a busy environment.
- To ensure a high level of appearance, cleanliness and well groomed presence, ensuring that the uniform provided is worn at all times.
- Ability to be a team leader in the absence of the head chef.
The position has a potential for live in, however this will affect the negotiated salary.
