This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading energy services company. As Office Manager for their Renfrew office, you will be responsible for the effective resolution of administrative problems, as well as the timely and effective processing of timesheets and associated records. You will provide supervision of the department or site administration, and are accountable for the satisfactory completion and maintenance of Professional Development Records.
Key responsibilities in this role will include:-
To regularly review the administrative procedures followed by the site. To recommend changes to procedures and implement authorised changes as required.
To provide general administrative support to line management when workload dictates.
To control, check and approve Site purchases and orders up to the value authorised by the Company.
To collate and check submissions of staff allowances, expenses and overtime for subsequent approval.
To ensure all time sheets are entered in IFS in a timely manner.
To implement, maintain and effectively manage the department’s administration system in accordance with Company procedures.
To liaise with Human Resources as and when required.
To ensure all department / site personnel’s details are current and up to date including health, training, and SQEP records.
Manage the departments / sites employees’ welfare and ensure the Site Manager is kept informed of any associated issues.
To maintain an adequate supply of consumables both stationary and PPE for site staff.
The ideal candidate will be computer literate, and will be fully trained in the use of IFS for time keeping and cost accounting. Any professional qualifications in business administration (or equivalent) would be preferred. You will ideally have experience in an office manager role with financial responsibility.
