An energy management and procurement company based in London are seeking an experienced Consultant to work within the Carbon Management team at the London office. The successful candidate must have consultancy experience and be willing to do business development as part of your role.

Responsibilities



■Providing carbon services to clients: legislation and compliance, carbon management and reporting, data auditing and analysis and offsetting
■Energy Audits, business case analysis, financing, implementation, verification
■Working with clients to optimise current onsite assets from CHP, on-site generation to energy from waste.
■Carbon and Sustainability strategy development with Clients with an emphasis on energy and emission reduction and onsite generation.
■Carbon data collection, audit and analysis
■Carbon management and reporting
■Analysis of different financing options
■Project implementation and verification
■Supporting the Risk and Strategy department on carbon and sustainability matters
■Attending exhibitions
■Increasing business via B2B sales
Experience

■Carbon legislation and compliance
■CRC, CCA’s, CCL,
■Carbon Trust Standard (CTS)
■Carbon Footprinting
■A proven track record of achieving sales targets and fostering strong, long term client relationships at a country, European and Global level
■Proven B2B sales experience of energy services solutions.
■Consultative selling approach
■Carbon and environmental or EMS experience of delivering solutions
■Working within an existing consultancy would be an advantage
■Knowledge of carbon and sustainability at a UK level, at a European / Global level would be an advantage
■Knowledge of the power, gas, oil and carbon utility / Industrial and commercial sectors would be an advantage
■Senior selling experience and or professional and consulting services
■Additional European languages would be an advantage (French, German, Italian or Spanish)
■Degree educated preferably to a 2.1 grading or equivalent
