Maths and English Tutors requires experienced tutors of Maths, English, Literacy, ESOL and Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) for private tuition throughout London.
Tuition generally takes place at the student's home or that of the tutor according to student’s preference. Tutors are free to set their own hourly rate although most tutors charge £20 - £25 per hour. Students pay the tutor directly after each class.
Tutors must have at least twelve months’ teaching/tutoring experience and be educated to degree level. A teaching qualification, although not essential, would be an advantage.Tutors are preferred who possess a recognised teaching qualification such as a PGCE. Tutors must be familiar with the National Curriculum and have experience of teaching students at key stages 1 and 2 (primary) or 3 and 4 (secondary). Tutors who lack an enhanced CRB disclosure issued within the last six months will only be considered for teaching adults.
