Our Client requires an Administrator / 1st Line Support for a permanent role based in Morecambe.
Providing 1st Line support for external clients the Helpdesk Support and Administrator will have excellent interpersonal skills, logging calls and providing assistance to our clients over the phone.
Working for a Microsoft Silver Partner company, the IT Helpdesk support and administrator will provide 1st line support either remotely or on the phone. They will be required to have a good knowledge of creating / amending users in AD, using remote desktop software and printers.

Working in such a varied environment you'll find yourself involved with a wide range of technical support queries however some of the more common will include:

* Technical incident management.
* First Line IT Support and remote access.
* Remote monitoring of business critical products and service levels utilising bespoke applications.
* Proactive server monitoring and reporting.
* System checks.
* Back up monitoring and reporting.
* Ordering components on behalf of the client / staff
* Assigning work to Technical staff ensuring that SLA’s are met or exceeded
* Customer Liaison
* Other administration work such as maintaining the CRM system

The successful candidate should have a broad technical background and experience in a good selection of the following technical skills:

* Active Directory Maintenance
* DNS
* Terminal Servers
* DHCP
* Remote Access / Logmein
* Desktop Operating Systems ( XP, Vista and 7)
* Office365

Additionally any IT qualification would be advantageous, of particular interest would be; MCP, MCSA. MCSE, MCITP, CCNA, JNCIA qualifications.
The ideal candidate should have a full Driving license, has their own transport, and has business class 1 insurance. Whilst there is a pool vehicle available for use, the applicant may be required to use their own vehicle, where mileage is then paid for.
