Job purpose:
To review, monitor and validate Contractor's progress, including management of potential changes, as part of the Project Controls Team.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Implementation of Contract Management processes and procedures
- Ensuring that Contractor is providing all QS documentation in accordance with the contract and contract administration policy and procedures in a fully auditable way
- Agree and validate measures of installed quantities with Contractor in full accordance with the contractual method of measurement; preparing progress valuations, reports and forecasts to completion of all activities and validating contractors’ invoices, including Change Orders for Company approval.
- Preparing estimations of possible changes as requested by the Company for additional scope or the supply of services and materials.
- To support the review of any claims and /or requests for compensation from Contractor, preparing position and recommending ways forward.
- Support development of regular reports and statistics of the Contractor and participating in meetings as necessary.
- Evaluating and managing Contract opportunities and risks.
- Participate in Contractor and Company audits as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Requirements:
- Degree/qualification in Quantity Surveying
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Good supervisory skills
- Experience in the areas of quantity surveying and project control
- Experience associated with engineering and construction of offshore facilities
