Care Visions at Home is currently seeking to appoint a suitably experienced Care Co-ordinator to join our team in Newcastle upon Tyne.
The overall purpose of the role is to provide our Care Assistants with support and to ensure that our teams provide a high quality service. As a Care Co-ordinator, you will manage and distribute resources effectively and will ensure that all Home Care is provided in a caring and respectful way in keeping with all relevant Policies and Procedures and Legal Standards as administered by the Commission for Social Care Inspection and any other compliance institution.
Job duties will include:
• Visiting both new and existing Customers to assess and re-assess care plans.
• Co-ordinating a team of Care Assistants ensuring effective supervision
• Provide on call cover as required
• Using effective problem solving skills in order to manage unanticipated events and/or unstable situations.
Hours of work will be an average of 42 per week in line with current shift patterns. Candidates will need to be prepared to work evening and weekend hours. Salary for this position will be in the region of £16,000 dependant on experience, plus contributory pension and childcare vouchers.
