European Account Manager - Manufacturing (Spanish)

A manufacturing company based in Northamptonshire is looking for a sales executive to work with clients from Spain and other Spanish speaking countries, from initial contact through to managing the relationship. The role is office based, so you must have strong telephone communication skills and enjoy the sales process from cold calling through to long term account management.
Responsibilities
• Initially cold calling / e-shot marketing until sales orders are converted
• Internet research contacting customers from Systems Manufacturing background, Printers, Distributors. – Researching and contacting - marketing via mail and telephone
• Following up on quotes to secure the business
• Keeping in regular contact with your own customers – maintaining the relationship and taking orders
• Following up on company leads generated from trade shows
• Sourcing new leads, gathering information from companies – i.e. names of decision makers and their positions within the organisation
• Dealing with customer enquiries on orders and prices
• Liaising with Distributors, Agents and Clients on a regular basis
• Maybe required to attend exhibitions locally and worldwide
• Working in a busy close knit team
• Account Management
Experience and skills required
• Strong background in technical sales or account management
• Fluency in English and a high level of confidence in Spanish – both spoken and written
• Excellent telephone manner
• The ability to build a rapport over the telephone
• Tenacity to secure new business
• Ability to use MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook
You must have your own transport as the office location is not served by public transport.
