Our Client requires a Payroll Administrator for a permanent position based in Lancaster.
The ideal candidate should have payroll skills to be considered for this position.
Knowledge of the MERIT Payroll System would be an advantage but not essential as training can be provided
Duties include but are not limited to:
Ensuring Clients timesheets are received and checked.
Monitor Expense claims and process
Ensure Invoices are raised and forwarded to tight deadlines.
Monitoring Bank Accounts and identifying monies received.
Complete and own payroll processing cycle for client.
Communicate payment details to the client.
Control reconciliation process for customers accounts
Respond to requests, queries and complaints.
Other requirements are:
ability to work under pressure.
Excellent customer service skills.
Able to work as part of a team liaising with other areas of the business to meet and enhance payroll delivery
Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
Demonstrate an ambition to progress in the Company.
Starting Salary £18k – 20 days holiday per year plus bank holidays (1 day extra for each year work up to maximum of 30) 37.5 hour working week
