This post sits within the Site Project team who are responsible for the Construction of a Major Gas Development Project situated in Shetland in the UK.

The Contracts and Commercial Manager will have responsibility for the management of a team to ensure that project contract and commercial matters at Site are effectively managed in accordance with Petrofac’s commercial policies and procedures.
Additionally, the role will include the effective post-contract commercial management of all sub-contracts and support the pursuit of commercial entitlement under the contract.


Qualifications:

• Extensive years of related experience in an engineering consulting or construction environment
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of commercial, economic and business issues relating to the industry
• Experience with the preparation and administration of commercial and contractual aspects of contracts, cost value analysis and reporting, subcontract award and administration and risk management
• Excellent interpersonal, writing and communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks in order to meet strict deadlines

Experience should include working on major international EPC or EPCM projects as well as experience of managing a team. A sound knowledge of commercial policies and procedures and risk management techniques is essential.

The role will be based in Shetland on the project site on a 4 week on 2 week off rotation
