Quality Engineer
We currently have an opportunity for an engineer to join the process engineering team of our clients busy manufacturing division. You will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing division with a range of quality and continuous activities. We are looking for a `hands on` Quality person rather than someone who only deals with processes.
Key tasks
-Resolving quality issues relating to the non-conformance of product.
-Monitoring & reporting stability and capability by analysing production data.
-Implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
-Ensuring products and processes comply with quality management system.
Ideal Candidate
-HNC in Engineering/Manufacturing
-Good understanding of ISO9001/TS16949
-Work experience in a Quality Engineer role
-Strong IT Skills
-SPC knowledge
-Experienced in engineer/quality principals

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
Possess a track record of achievement within the realms of Quality Engineering
Ideally qualified to HNC level or equivalent in an engineering or manufacturing discipline
Fully conversant with engineering and quality principles (including but not limited to SPC, Gauge R&R, DoE, sampling plans)
Familiar with a range of measuring and inspection equipment and be able to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Excellent computer skills (including but not limited to Windows, Office, MS Access/SQL)
Good ISO9001/TS16949 quality systems knowledge
Proactive experience of, or contribution to, change management processes
Strong statistical knowledge with advanced use of statistical software such as Minitab, Statgraphics, SAS
