The European System Sales Specialist is responsible for all aspects of system sales into the European territory by applying knowledge of the Company’s organisation, standard system products and services.

This includes promoting, selling and offering prospective customers accurate information relating to the standard system platforms, implementing centralised files to store technical, commercial and competitor information and specification related documents.

Effectively communicate “market” and competitor information to the European Sales Manager and Executive management.

This position is a proactive and results orientated sales role and will be measured accordingly.

MAIN DUTIES
• Office based co-ordination and handling of all incoming RFQ’s for The Company’s systems products
• Extensive travel throughout Europe to visit customers and follow up on RFQ’s
• Promote and sell the Company’s range of standard and non-standard system platforms
• Quote preparation and relevant sales information transfer to customers
• Co-ordinate and participate to EU tenders relating to the Company’s PED products
• Attendance at relevant exhibitions
• When required assist in the development and maintenance of centralised document folders for the following: standard quotations, service offering and agreements, technical data, specification sheets, PowerPoint presentations, sales aids, quote matrixes, images and 3D models, drawings, commercial and contractual information
• Regularly train the external sales force on the Company’s standard platforms and documents, both in the field and in the office
• Maintain ongoing potential lists through AX
• Regular reports to management relating to budgets, future potential and performance measurement (KPI’s)
• Provide market feedback relating to the Company’s standard platforms, and input to future product development including: brochures, specifications, quotations, strengths and weaknesses, pricing, technical data, etc.
• Other Duties as assigned

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Good communication skills
• Demonstrable positive mental attitude
• Vacuum deposition experience
• HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• BSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Job related experience and proven sales track record
• Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook and Powerpoint)

PREFERRED
• Foreign language
• Quality, H&S and ISO experience

WORKING CONDITIONS
• Extensive European travel
