The Background
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Energy Consultant to work for a leading Energy Company; to work on a diverse range of energy related services and products within the facilities management arena. As an Energy Consultant, as part of a team, you will be responsible for the delivery of site surveys, in depth reports as well as the development of strategies to minimise energy and water use in commercial buildings.

The Role
As an Energy Consultant you'll help to develop and deliver new energy related services and analyse utility consumption data to identify excessive use and potential savings. You'll undertake site surveys and investigations and will prepare technical reports regarding the use and conservation of energy and water. Additionally you'll keep up to date on all legislative change and will liaise with business development teams from other parts of the business and advise on energy practices and innovation.

You
Ideally you'll have previous experience of working as an Energy Consultant and will have a firm understanding of building engineering services for commercial buildings. Ideally you'll be a member of CIBSE and will have worked previously as an LCC / LCEA. You'll also hold an up to date EPC level 4 and will have DEC accreditation. Additionally you'll have the ability to carry out site surveys and investigations into building energy performance and to cost a project and determine potential savings from energy reduction. Knowledge and understanding of legislation relating to energy and carbon management (EU EPBD and CRC) would be desirable and experience with DesignBuilder is preferable.
