Air Quality Consultant (Senior – Minerals and Waste)

This successful independent geo-environmental consultancy with particular expertise in the waste management, and brownfield land development sectors is seeking an experienced dust and air quality consultant.
Responsibilities
• Manage the company’s Air Quality department
• Develop and manage business in the area
• Working primarily within the minerals and waste industries
Experience required
• In depth experience of air quality assessments in the minerals and waste sectors,
• A relevant first degree or equivalent (eg Environmental Science) and preferably a postgraduate degree.
• Chartered status and/or membership of a relevant body (IAQM) would be an advantage.
• Extensive experience of the surface minerals and waste industries;
• Familiarity with the relevant regulatory controls and guidance;
• Proficiency in air quality assessments, including dust, odour and industrial emissions;
• Knowledge and experience of dust and air quality monitoring;
• Knowledge and experience of air quality management plans;
• Knowledge and experience of bioaerosol risk assessments;
• Competency in the use of dispersion modelling and other software;
• Effective communicator, both written and spoken
