My names Tom Hilton
Im 17 years old i turn 18 january 21st,
i live in Petersfield and currently unemployed.
I am very interested in the hospitality industry as i have grown up with it, my father being a baker and pastry chef and my mother always home baking etc.
so im very familiar in this enviroment and feel its where i excel the most, Ive never had a job before, but i have experience in a kitchen.
I attended Woolmer Hill School in Haslemere,Surrey and gained 14 GCSE's mainly Cs and Ds.
Im a very easy person to get on with and take pride in my work and can perform well under pressure i have alot of experience in that as i captained my school basketball team and had success with the team. and have played nationally at a top level of basketball i love the challenge, im a fast learner and can achieve more than expected of me.
I have a real passion for cooking, i dont see cooking as just a hobbie or interest, i live cooking its my life and would love to learn every single thing there is to know in the kitchen and master them.
I am determined to do anything and everything it takes to get to the top level and further as a chef, this career is everything to me and i would master every challenge to get to that next level of cooking.
Where do i see myself in the future? - My goal is to work my way up the ladder and become head chef of my own restaurant and to be the best i can be, im really looking for someone to help me start off my career and give me the break i need to take the first step on that ladder of chef hierachy.
In my last year of school i had 2weeks work experience in the kitchen at the Lythe Hill Hotel in Haslemere i learnt alot and realised it is the career i want to have and profess in, since then i have had work experience in pubs and other hotels, this year i travelled to New Zealand to stay with my father for 9 months and i had alot of work experience there in kitchens almost everywhere i went and also sat in on a hospitality course where i learnt alot.
I hope this will interest you and i look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
Tom Hilton
