Personal Assistants employed by families support them on a part-time, flexible basis either at home or in the community. The work is fun, flexible and highly rewarding. What's more it will fit around your existing work, home or study commitments and provide you with valuable experience and immense job satisfaction. Although previous experience is desirable, if you have a genuine interest in working with disabled young people then we could have the ideal opportunity for you.
Reflecting families’ specifications for a male ‘buddy’ for their young person, we are currently looking for young men who are enthusiastic, caring and reliable. Drivers with own transport preferred.
Successful applicants will be invited to attend a comprehensive and fully structured training course which has been designed to minimise disruption to day-time commitments. On successful completion of the training you will be matched and introduced to suitable families. Rates of pay are typically from £7.50 per hour.
